Kanchanpur: In a recent development, law enforcement authorities have apprehended an individual in Kanchanpur for possession of illicit drugs.

Arrested in connection with this case is 23-year-old Arjun Ayer, a resident of the same locality. Ayer was taken into custody after being found in possession of approximately 6.65 grams of illegal substances. This arrest transpired in Shuklaphanta Municipality-7, specifically in the Simalphanta area of the district, on a Friday evening.

The apprehension of Arjun Ayer was executed by a collaborative effort involving a joint police team deployed from the Sudurpaschim Province Police Office in Dhangadhi, in conjunction with personnel from the Area Police Office in Jhalari. In addition to the narcotics, Ayer was also found in possession of a scale commonly used for measuring such substances.
