Former Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane Visits Earthquake-Affected Areas in Bajhang

Bajhang: Ravi Lamichhane, the Chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party and former Home Minister, has made a compassionate visit to Bajhang to gain insight into the plight of earthquake victims.

On Wednesday evening, he arrived in Bajhang, extending his support to the injured and displaced individuals affected by the recent earthquake. Lamichhane's visit to Bajhang encompassed interactions with earthquake victims in Witthadchir and Kedarsyun Rural Municipality, followed by a visit to the district headquarters in Chainpur. He took the time to meet with local residents and those who had been compelled to live outside the headquarters due to the earthquake's impact.

On Thursday morning, Lamichhane convened discussions with the Chief District Officer, security personnel, and local residents, as well as overseeing the distribution of relief to the affected victims. He expressed his sincere intention to offer solace and support to those grappling with the aftermath of this calamity. Lamichhane further emphasized his commitment to advocating for the earthquake-stricken region within the legislative and administrative bodies, urging them to address the pressing issues faced by the community.
