Tragic Mini Truck Accident Claims One Life in Darchula

Dhangadhi: An unfortunate incident unfolded in Darchula as a mini truck transporting food from Dhangadhi in Kailali met with a devastating accident early this Thursday morning.

Regrettably, the accident claimed the life of one individual. The ill-fated truck bearing registration number Se.1 B 1252 was en route to Duhu Rural Municipality-2 within the district when it veered off the road and plummeted approximately 250 meters down the precipitous Ratakatha Bhir.

The driver of the vehicle is currently at large and is actively being sought by authorities. The deceased has been identified as Karan Singh Bohara, aged 40/45, hailing from Duhu Rural Municipality-3, Brahamdeb. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene, as confirmed by the local police.

In response to the incident, a team of seven dedicated policemen, led by Police Assistant Inspector Sant Bahadur Pal from the Hikila area police office, has been deployed to the accident site. Their primary objective is to gather comprehensive information regarding this unfortunate incident.
