Dhangadhi: Sahara Ghar in Kailali has been financially supported. 1.5 crore rupees has been provided to Sahara Ghar, which is operated by the Helping Hands Nepal organization located in Bardagoria rural municipality-2 of the district.

Dhangadhi: Sahara Ghar in Kailali has been financially supported. 15 million rupees has been provided to Sahara Ghar, which is operated by the Helping Hands Nepal organization located in Bardagoria rural municipality-2 of the district.

The National Planning Commission has provided this support to operate the Sahara House in an orderly manner. The organization has been providing support to people stranded on the streets, mentally ill, destitute and destitute citizens.

More than 100 people, including mentally ill and helpless children, are receiving shelter at Sahara House, which has been operated by local Bal Bahadur Bista since 2070 BS. Sahara Ghar has been operating with the support of individuals and organizations from the country/abroad.

The owner of Sahara, Bista, said that after the government has given such a big support for the first time, he feels that he has done a really good job. Bista, who works round the clock in social service, has been taking care of the parental responsibility of the citizens who are stranded on the streets.

He said that the government's support added to his happiness as he took the responsibility that the government should take. On the recommendation of Bardagoria rural municipality, a plan with this amount has been made for Sahara houses.

Arjunsingh Karki, chief administrative officer of Bardagoria rural municipality, said that Sahara Ghar has done a good job and said that it has received a grant from the Planning Commission for long-term management. The plan allocated for the construction of physical infrastructure has gone into the contract process for implementation. He said that the contract will be signed within a month and the construction plan will be started. Informing that there is a multi-year plan under the special grant, Chief Karki informed that National Secondary School Kota Tulsipur and Mohanyal Secondary School Baskota have also received Rs 1.8 crore grant.

It is said that the construction process of all the three plans has proceeded by inviting tenders at once. It is expected that Sahara Ghar, which is providing services with limited resources, will now be organized and equipped.

Five people are helping as volunteers at Sahara House. Bista, the owner of Sahara House, said that they are helping the dependents in Sahara House by preparing food, cleaning, and taking care of them.

Affected by the humanitarian services of Sahara House, Nepalese living in the country/abroad have saved the money they spend on birthdays, weddings, and celebrations and give it to Sahara House. Bista, the owner, said that until now, there is an arrangement to feed and stay the helpless, sad and victims who come to Sahara House through support.
