National Education Award Conferred Upon Prof. Harish Kumar Ojha of Panchodaya, Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: Harish Kumar Ojha, the esteemed headmaster of Panchodaya Secondary School in Dhangadhi, has been honored with the prestigious National Education Award. This distinguished recognition was presented to him by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, and Science Technology on the auspicious occasion of Education Day in 2080 BS.
Professor Ojha's exceptional contributions to community-based education earned him the National Education Award for Community Schools. This accolade, which celebrates excellence in education across the Far West region, has been conferred upon a total of nine outstanding educators.
Among the notable recipients were Principal Manveer Khati of Bhanodaya Secondary School in Budhiganga-5, Bajura; Surendra Bahadur Khadka, a dedicated teacher at Jalpadevi Secondary School in Ward No. 8 of Kamalbazar Municipality, Acham; and Hitraj Joshi, an educator at Satyavadi Secondary School in Chainpur, Bajhang.
Further extending this well-deserved recognition, Gagansinh Karki, a teacher at Kedareshwar Secondary School in Shikhar Municipality-1, Doti, was celebrated for his invaluable contributions. Ram Dutt Joshi, who serves as a teacher at Mahendra Secondary School in Mahakali-4, Darchula, also received commendation.
The list of awardees continued with Jit Bahadur Pandey, the principal of Vasudev Secondary School in Surnaya, Baitadi, and another Jit Bahadur Pandey, who leads Mahendra Secondary School in Amargadhi-4, Dadeldhura. Ghanshyam Bhatt, a dedicated teacher at Ninglasaini Secondary School in Bhimdutta-18, Kanchanpur, and Surendra Singh Air, were among the esteemed recipients of the National Education Award.
This recognition serves as a testament to the outstanding efforts of these educators, who have left an indelible mark on the field of education in their respective communities and the Far West region as a whole.
