Drug Arrest in Dhangadhi: Suspect Apprehended by Kailali Police

Dhangadhi: In a significant operation, the Kailali police have apprehended an individual in Dhangadhi, Kailali, on charges of drug possession.

On Monday, the law enforcement authorities detained Gaurab Bam, a 30-year-old resident of Shuklaphata Municipality-8 in Kanchanpur. Bam was taken into custody in Taranagar, Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-4, while in possession of controlled substances.

The police disclosed that they seized a quantity of 4 grams and 130 milligrams of illicit drugs from the suspect. Following his arrest, Bam was transported to the District Police Office Kailali for further investigation and legal proceedings.

This arrest underscores the ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat the illicit drug trade and uphold public safety in the region.
