Tragic Incidents Claim Two Lives in Kailali Region

Dhangadhi: Kailali district was marred by sorrow as two individuals lost their lives in separate and unfortunate incidents. The incidents occurred in different areas of the district, with one fatality in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City and another in Kailari Rural Municipality.

According to local law enforcement, Yavraj Shahi, aged 45, hailing from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-12C, met a tragic end due to electrocution. Shahi's untimely demise unfolded while he was engaged in the process of connecting an electrical wire to a bathroom fixture in his residence. Despite prompt medical attention, Shahi could not be saved, and he passed away during treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital, as confirmed by the police authorities.

Similarly, the heart-wrenching loss extended to Kailari Rural Municipality, where a young life was cut short. The victim, 5-year-old Bijal Chaudhary from Kailari Rural Municipality-9 Bankanari, lost his life in a drowning incident. The police report revealed that Bijal tragically drowned while bathing in a local lake on Saturday.
