Ultrasound Services Introduced at Regional Ayurveda Hospital
Dhangadhi: The Provincial Ayurvedic Hospital has taken a significant step forward with the introduction of ultrasound services. On Wednesday, Dr. Niraj Aryal, the Acting Director of the Provincial Supply Management Center, handed over the ultrasound machine to Dr. Surya Upadhya, the Acting Director of the Hospital.
Since its establishment last year, the Ayurveda Hospital in Dhangadhi 13 Rajpur has been operational, offering specialized treatments alongside traditional Ayurvedic therapies. With the recent inclusion of ultrasound and ECG services, the hospital aims to enhance its medical offerings further.
During the handover ceremony, Dr. Niraj Aryal, the Acting Director of the Provincial Health Supply Management Center, explained that the ultrasound equipment was procured as part of last year's acquisition initiative. The addition of color ultrasound capabilities is expected to significantly enhance the quality of medical services provided by the hospital.
Dr. Surya Upadhya, the interim director of the hospital, emphasized the importance of having ultrasound machines for expanding medical services. He expressed his commitment to offering ultrasound and ECG services to patients at affordable rates, starting from Wednesday. Notably, the hospital has fixed a reasonable fee of 400 for ultrasound procedures.
Among those present at the program were Khagendra Bam, the former director of the hospital, and various medical professionals. With the introduction of ultrasound services, the Regional Ayurveda Hospital looks forward to serving the community with enhanced medical care and diagnostics.
