Animal sacrifice continues

Last two years people have been protesting against animal sacrifice on the day of Ashtami and Navami. However, the practice continues in many temples in order to please Goddess Durga. The first objection was made a few years back claiming it to be cruelty against animals which also happens to be illegal worldwide.
