Singh arrested for orchestrating criminal activities in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: A mastermind behind a motorcycle theft has been arrested in Belauri of Kanchanpur district. According to the police investigation, three motorcycles were stolen from the DD Automobiles showroom near Belauri Bazaar water tank on October 25 (Kartik 7 BS).

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Shaurbha Bahadur Singh alias Shail, who was absconding after the theft, was arrested. He was arrested from a house in Laljhadi Chande at 4 am on Sunday. Police have recovered three stolen Pulsar motorcycles and arrested Bibek Bam, Laxman Chunara, Thaggi Rana, Paras Bisht and Kiran Nath and produced them in court.

Narendra Joshi, Satish Bohara and Bhuvan Air, also known as Nari Bisht, were on the absconding list. Chief of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, SP Umaprasad Chaturvedi said that search was on for the remaining three fugitives. He said that the group has incited various criminal incidents in the district.

Similarly, three cases of theft have been registered at Area Police Office Jhalari, two cases of theft at Area Police Office Belauri and drug cases at Area Police Office Tribhuvanbasti.
