Congress politician arrested on rape charges in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A Congress politician Purna Bahadur Singh has been arrested on charges of rape. Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kailali, Deputy Inspector Pratik Bista said that Singh was arrested on the charge of rape on November 17. According to him, necessary investigation is being carried out on him.

Singh, who hails from Budhi Ganga-9 in Bajura, was a candidate for the Nepali Congress General Convention in the recently concluded district convention.
