COVID-19: 280 more cases detected in country

Coronavirus has been confirmed on 280 more people in the country in the last 24 hours. The new number of coronavirus cases was detected in course of conducting 12,174 tests. With this, number of coronavirus case load has reached 919,044 so far, according to the Ministry of health and Population. Similarly, 336 people have recovered from the virus in last 24 hours.

The number of people who have recovered from the virus has reached 805,571 as of today. Likewise, two more people succumbed to COVID-19 in last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11,547. The mortality rate from coronavirus is 1.4 per cent. According to the Ministry, 283,132 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in last 24 hours. There are 6,239 active cases in the country. A total of 5,213 people are on home isolation, 326 on institutional isolation, 118 are in ICU and 29 are on ventilator support. ---
