Krishna Basic School closed in Kanchanpur after teachers and students test positive for COVID-19

Dhangadhi: A school in Kanchanpur has been closed after the Coronavirus spread was amongt teachers and students. Krishna Basic School in Shuklaphanta Municipality-1, Bansaha has been closed since Monday. According to the health department of the municipality, the infection has been confirmed in an 11-year-old student of class 5 and along with two other teachers of the school.

Health department chief Parmananda Bhatta said that all of them tested positive for the virus on Sunday. After the second wave of COVID-19 infection subsided, physical education was conducted in schools. However, it has been closed again.
