Stone pelting at NC polling station in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A stone has been pelted at the Congress polling station in Kailali. The Pratibha Library on East Road in Attaria of the district has been stoned. The counting of votes for the General Convention Representative and Regional Committee of Kailali Constituency No. 4 was being done at the Pratibha Library.

A stone was hurled at the library window after a dispute over the counting of votes. The window glass has been shattered due to stone pelting. In the open election for the 10 delegates to the General Convention, 9 candidates were elected, but there was a dispute after three votes were cast in the 10th delegate.

Some Congress leaders have accused the census of being rigged. It is alleged that the police took the ballot boxes without taking any notice.
