15 injured in an accident in Shuklaphanta National Park

Dhangadhi: Fifteen people have been injured in an accident in Kanchanpur district.

Fifteen people were injured when a minibus (Se 1 Kha 654) heading to Mahendranagar from Belauri in the district met with an accident at Arjuni area of Shuklaphanta National Park on Saturday.

According to Inspector Lal Bahadur Bam of the District Police Office Kanchanpur, the accident took place while the bus was overtaking another vehicle. The injured are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Kailali and Kanchanpur.

According to Inspector Bam, 11 of them are undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Jhalari. Three people have been brought to Dhangadhi, while one of them is critically injured. Similarly, one person is undergoing treatment at Mahakali Hospital, according to Kanchanpur Police.

The bus driver is said to be under police control.
